A small, yet beautiful beach with strong waves, this beach is inside an area of environment protection and part of the eco-touristic
Villas de São José.
The guests of the hotels and residences are allowed free access to the beach. External visitors have to pay a day-use fee that includes some outdoor activities.
The complex Villas de São José is a pioneering initiative in Brazil which combines leisure and preservation of the environment.
Great part of the complex was transformed into an Ecopark
where the visitors can discover the fauna and the flora of the tropical forest, and
visit traditional cocoa plantations.
